The Comparison Process
Product Selection
We identify UK-facing sportsbook and betting products for review. Selection is based on market presence, product distinctiveness, and relevance to UK punters. We do not list every product — our comparison is a selected subset, not a definitive ranking of the whole market.
Editorial Assessment
Each product is reviewed against our standard criteria: market coverage, odds presentation, mobile usability, accumulator and bet builder tools, payment options, terms transparency, and responsible gambling visibility. The same criteria apply to every product.
Score Calculation
Criteria scores are weighted and combined into a single editorial score on a 1.0–5.0 scale. Scores represent our team's assessment at the time of review. They are not official ratings and they can change if the product changes significantly.
Written Review
Alongside the score, we write a product overview that covers the most relevant aspects of the product for a UK user. We aim for specificity — noting concrete features rather than vague positives — and we include weaknesses where they exist.
Periodic Updates
Products change. We review published content periodically and update scores and descriptions when significant changes occur. If you notice information that appears out of date, please let us know via our contact form.
What Our Comparisons Don't Claim
Comparison scores do not indicate regulatory compliance, financial stability, or official recommendation. They are editorial assessments of user experience features, not audits.
We do not claim to know current odds competitiveness with certainty — odds change continuously. We do not verify live customer data, payout times, or support response quality from direct testing.
Before registering with any operator, you should check their current terms and conditions on their own website. Promotional offers, minimum odds requirements, payment restrictions, and account conditions are set entirely by the operator and can change without notice.
Affiliate Relationships and Independence
UK Odds Board earns affiliate commissions. This is disclosed on every relevant page. We apply the same review criteria to all operators and do not allow commercial relationships to influence scores or written assessments.
